Ms. Grossman is responsible for acquiring investments in real estate and debt for JRG Capital Partners, LLC. From 2003 to 2009, Cheri Grossman was the Regional Director of Investments at Wrightwood Capital. Ms. Grossman was responsible for the origination of structured debt for value-creation opportunities throughout the Midwest and Texas. In addition, Ms. Grossman was responsible for Wrightwood Capital’s national self storage platform.
Prior to joining Wrightwood Capital in 2003, she was a Regional Director at GE Real Estate in Chicago responsible for originating structured and fixed-rate debt throughout the Midwest. From 1987 to 2000, Ms. Grossman was employed by Heller Financial's Commercial Real Estate Division where she held numerous positions including Managing Director, Syndications; Senior Credit Officer; and Midwest Region Manager. From 1984 to 1987, she began her career as a Certified Public Accountant with KPMG in Chicago.
Ms. Grossman is a member of the Chicago Chapter of NAIOP, ULI, and CREW Chicago. Ms. Grossman received her undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign graduating with honors.
